Welcome to A Bit of the South! A Bit of the South is going to be taking a short vacation. Order processing will resume in the Fall, 2008. We will be looking forward to seeing you then! Growing up in the South, I have always had a love for family, southern tradition and good food. Living in the country and having a mother as a homemaker, there was always plenty of fine living to go around. This has inspired me to the pecan and candy business today. I offer a number of different flavored pecans: chocolate covered, cinnamon, praline, and toasted. Our specialty is, of course, our own homemade peanut brittle, divinity and creamy pralines. This comes straight from my mother's own recipes that have been around for quite some time. She is the head chef of my kitchen, you will not be disappointed. It is my desire to bring the same warm feeling to the homes of your family, friends, or employees that I have been able to enjoy all these years. ~ Suzy Walton
